Hi, Jean

It is direct help or not (more likely story)

We upgrades a HP 979/100 from 950 about 18 months ago,
We found out NS/VT on 100MB 3-com network pause 2- 5 sec.

?????????????????......

Finally, we installed second 10MB LAN card on HP979
this pause on NS/VT problem is gone.

Cheers

Dear Readers,

We have a H-P 3000/957. Our serial lines are connected via a BNC to DTC to H-P advance stack hub to another BNC and out to each connection. The network connections are over 100mb from a Cabletron 9000 to a Cabletron 6000 and out to each drop via a 10mb connection.
Our problem is that both serial and networked devices will at times stall for 20 seconds or more and some times even drop the session(network only). The network software running on an NT box tells us we are running at 2% capability and 0 errors. All of the devices involved are in 1 building. If anyone has ANY insight as to how to correct this problem I will be forever in your debt.

Thanks,
