This may be to late, I beleive the Original was for a guy called 'WES', hope this helps.
I have an HP Original cable RJ45 to D25M, part number, 8120-6196 which happens to be a 'Terminal to Diag Port' cable, it works fine for printers, I had the pinouts checked when I needed more cables for printers, the
results are below,
wire 1 J1-01 J2-02
2 J1-03 J2-03
3 J1-04 J2-22
4 J1-05 J2-08
5 J1-06 J2-07
