Hi, Bob

IIRC, First RISC system, OCTCOMP save process time
on Old Compatible mode COBOL programs.
After OCTCOMP, In Average, Programs ran 50%- 80% faster.
Later, use NM compiler..... :-)

But, I just got blank on system process, like FCOPY, SORT and EDTOR..

Cheers

Has anybody compiled a list of system programs that are good
candidates for OCTCOMP, and/or a list of those that should
not be done? In particular FCOPY, SORT, and EDITOR are used
quite a lot by our overnight jobs and I was curious whether
some small performance improvement could be gained.
