Here's one to stump the guru's out there (Okay, someone will probably come
up with a quick answer, but I'm stumped at least).
I have a program, which consists of C code, which calls COBOL code, acting
as a listener program for a VB client. Depending on which report the VB
client requests, a COBOL subprogram is spawned.
Now this works fine on 4 of my 5 machines, but for some reason on one of
them, this program will only run from a session. From a jobstream, I get
the following error whenever a client connects:
24 :RUN E000000.EXEC
25
26 Starting server.
27 Client number 1 accepted on socket 11.
28 Calling p000000 with socket 12.
29 Closing socket 11.
30 **** Data memory protection trap (TRAPS 68). ABORT:
E000000.EXEC.METRI
CS NM USER 5c4.010043ec dbexplain+$458
31 NM PROG f61.00017cec p000001+$b08
I have made sure that I am running it as a session using the same user name
as that of the jobstream, but it still doesn't work. The account and groups
on this machine are setup the same as other machines (actually, used
BULDACCT to migrate the account).
Anyone have any ideas? Or anyone know what that trace is showing?
