Here's a question for you remote access folks: What kind of bandwidth
does a remote DTC need?
Does the Ethernet chatter eat up a line? If I had 20-30 DTC48s
connected to a system via T1, how badly would that affect other traffic
-- e.g. TCP/IP -- on that T1 line?
(Is it better to have a local "gateway" HP3000 terminals connect to
auto-DSLINE users to the ultimate remote HP3000 box in question?)
Advice? Observations? Stories?
Thanks!
Curtis
