I have not had any problems whatsoever with the concurrent installation of
both Express 3 Product/Subsys and PowerPatch 7 tapes - totalling aprox. 10
instances.

One clarification to Michael's warning to apply both tapes.

As long as you had previously applied Express 3 Subsys (say, with
PowerPatch 3 or 4 or 5 or 6), it should not be necessary to re-apply it
with PowerPatch 7 - although it would not hurt to do so anyway.

Also, as Michael indicates, I too recommend using Patch/iX instead of
Autopat - particularly with its recently included feature of allowing one
to specify FOS patches to be applied.

Even though the default is "NO" (to not apply them), I cannot think of a
situation where it would be beneficial to choose the default.

I suppose the reason that NO is the default is to abide by HP's
conservative approach to have Patch/iX's behaviour closely follow earlier
versions.
