Thanks for the info... It helps to solve a mystery that occurred a couple
weeks ago while I was doing a patch update.  I was unable to boot from ldev
7, a DDS3, and after a couple of failed attempts I was able to boot
successfully from a different tape drive, of which I just now verified to be
a DDS2. (All along I thought that it was the tape or the DAT drive starting
to go bad...)

My question... Did HP say anything about fixing this problem?
