You can log off the console and it will still be a console. They would
need to know the OPERATOR.SYS or MANAGER.SYS passwords to log back on.
You can still reply to messages using Control-A (which generates an "="
prompt). If they never know about Ctrl-A they can never respond to
anything.

To be really secure, you can hide a terminal in a locked remote closet
and reroute the console to it with "CONSOLE <TermDevice>". To get it
back, say CONSOLE 20.
