Just do it.  Think of the fame and glory that awaits.  ;-)

Widely popular packages running on multiple flavors of Unix are generally
"easy" to port to MPE.

If you get stuck, just post to HP3000-L and I'm sure you'll get multiple
responses from the porting crowd....
