Denys writes (regarding Apple's now-shipping iBook):

Just as a general observation, I find it interesting that the machine Apple
touts as the second-fastest laptop in the world is labelled "somewhat
underpowered."  (Please remember as well that they are targetting this
at the *consumer* market.)

Perhaps "under-megahertz'd" was intended, as the G3 family (and the
300 MHz processor in the iBook) is MHz-for-MHz faster than x86
processors, at least through the P-II family.

Still, this is probably as favourable a review of a Mac system
as Denys has ever made. :)
