Jeff after Curtis...

To Curtis I'd respond "it depends" and "PHP seems closer to Java
Server Pages than Servlets (although JSP implementations seem to
be with Servlets)"...
To Jeff I'd respond "FastCGI for Apache seemed to build reasonably
well when I tried a while ago, but I got detracted by Apache JServ,
which worked even better and offered the seemingly more widespread
Servlet API (although FastCGI has the better native code potential)"
But for both replies, I would have to spend some more thought :-)
Lars.
PS... Find Apache JServ/iX (or would that be Apache/iX JServ?)
at http://www.editcorp.com/Personal/Lars_Appel/index.html,
okay, admittedly not the latest version uploaded yet.
