Also :

        -Is the system being accessed by users during the time
         of batch processing ?

        -Are the batch jobs running in the default queue or being assigned
             to another ?

        -Are they currently running sequentially or concurrently ?

I used to *force* nightly EOM batch jobs thru the system by
splitting job processes to different queues as needed, to complete
processing by business hours, depending upon the need and
'guestimated' processing time of a job.
