Sorry to not be writing or complaining about a joke, but we just had a very
odd situation occur.
I was just in GLANCE on my system and noticed a system process using a
large amount of DISK. I tracked it's open files and there were two files I
had never noticed before. So I looked on the system, and there they were,
but why is so much IO occuring? Is it some type of logging? I checked
some other CPU'S and some have these files and some don't. What is really
interesting is that the access and mod dates of the files are rather old,
even though they are currently open and being accessed.
