Shortly after the Columbine massacre, PBS (Frontline?) did a piece on cities where firearm use is pretty much universal.  Guess what they found ... Most of these small towns had not had ANY firearm violence in nearly a century!!!  Most of the locals attributed this to the training given to their young people.  Training which focused on respect for human life.  Firearms are tools like automobiles.  Why is there no great state suits being filed again automobile manufactures for all the children killed in automobile accidents, but plenty against firearm manufacturers?

2. As the world has witnessed, sometimes those 'deranged people' in the USA also happen to be high-school students who have, quite possibly, been taught their gun skills by people such as the General mentioned in the original posting.
