Reflection should not be holding the block mode flag on unless the 'Save
Settings on Exit' switch is enabled in the terminal settings. I always
recommend to users and our server application custodians that this never be
turned on for this very reason. Occasionally, we'll have a user make color or
other environmental changes and save the new settings while in a block mode app,
but that's much easier to deal with.

We have had similar problems when our end users are in BLOCK
mode and have a PC problem which requires re-booting their
PC. It can also happen if they get into a hang condition
within the application and are forced to close Reflections
before logging off. Reflection will keep BLOCK mode on.
You cannot log on to the system when BLOCK mode is on.

I have the end-user do an ALT 'M' and turn BLOCK mode off (FK 3)
[or go into SETTINGS/TERMINAL/FUNCTION Keys]. SAVE settings
prior to logging back on.

As a last resort, I have them use an alternate settings file.
When I install Reflections, I always create a few 'spare'
settings files for quicker recovery.
