When you say Windows/Office 2000, do you mean Windows 2000 and MS Office 2000,
or did you really mean MS Office 2000?  If the latter, yes go ahead and install
in on Windows 98.  If the former, you need to verify which version of W2K you
have.  If it's beta 3 or RC-1 or RC-2, sure go ahead and try it.  If it's
earlier, do not bother.

I do believe you meant MS Office 2000.

I have just received my upgrade copy of Windows/Office 2000 for a recently
purchased Dell PC which was delvered with Win 98 installed. Are there
reasons to either install it or leave it in the package? Your advice
appreciated.
