Provost Berry has tapped Graduate Studies Division department head Tony
Lease to fill the vacancy created by Bill Aiken's acting vice-chancellor
appointment.  As Acting Associate Provost for Academic Administration, Dr.
Lease will vacate his role in the College of Education and Applied
Professional Studies at the end of September.

John Schaerer, Special Assistant to the Chancellor, has agreed to provide
leadership to the Graduate Studies Division to maintain the positive
direction that faculty has created in the delivery of graduate study
opportunities for professional educators in the tri-state area.  Dr.
Schaerer brings to the task a strong background in educational leadership
and extensive professional networks in north Georgia.
