Dr. Michael Hodge of the Center for Applied Social Research, in
collaboration with the UT-Knoxville Dept. of Forestry, Wildlife and
Fisheries, has secured $124,200 to support research for The National Survey
on Recreation and Environment (NSRE).
The NSRE project is funded through a research grant from the US Forest
Service to the Tennessee Agricultural Experiment Station, Institute of
Agriculture, University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
Dr. Hodge will oversee the survey project through UTC's Center for Applied
Social Research, with student assistants conducting the surveys. Dr. Hodge
estimates that a total of 9000 surveys will be conducted.
Please join us in congratulating Dr. Hodge for securing this opportunity
for UTC students. Good work, Dr. Hodge!
