RE:  Tennessee Virtual University

Chancellor Stacy and I would like to invite you to a presentation on the
Tennessee Virtual University (TVU) on Tuesday, October 12 from 9:00 - 11:00
a.m. in the Signal Mountain Room.  The TVU, housed at the new Renaissance
Center located in Dixon, Tennessee, is a collaborative project between UT
and the Tennessee Board of Regents, with oversight by the Tennessee Higher
Education Commission.  The TVU will be a predominantly on-line university
providing a gateway to academic programs offered by Tennessee's public
