I remember seeing a noise cancellation product that Detroit was thinking
about using in their cars that would eliminate the muffler.  It has a
sensor that would pick up the noise wave, and a speaker downline
slightly that was used by a computer that read in the noise, then sent
out a cancellation wave that would make it come out quiet.

I could see a vendor's booth that would cancel out all of the noise from
the other booths and the salesmen could talk in a normal voice the
people stopping by their booth.  I have a feeling that the booth would
be rather crowded, but then again, isn't that what any vendor wants at a
show like that?
