Along those same lines, it would be nice to be able to speak in a normal
tone of voice at the social events.  Even if you have to move to the far end
of the room. My main goal in going to a conference is to meet with people.
It was almost impossible to talk with people in the Wednesday night event.
We had to either go outside or go to some far corner just to avoid shouting
hurting our vocal cords. Still even in that far corner we had to shout.
