Hi All :)
On the subject of 100 year Flood Plains....

Remember, this just means that there will be a flood in that plain "at least
once every 100 years"... this doesn't mean there can't be more than one!!! This
would seem to say that you have at least a 1% chance of a flood any given year
in such a plain????

I remember talking with a guy in Tualatin Oregon in February of 1996 about
this... he had just won a several month long fight with the bank who held his
mortgage concerning whether or not he had to have flood insurance for his house
since he lived in a 100 year flood plain.... in January of 1996 he had dropped
his flood insurance....

For those who don't know... Tualatin is a community just outside of Portland,
Or... and was flooded with over 8 feet of water in February of '96! We couldn't
even get the "Deuce and a Half's" into parts of the town because the water was
so high!

   Back to the topic...

Computer centers go in the middle of buildings above ground level... Chem
labs should always be built on the top floor ... something to do with
explosions? hehehe

Art "Paranoid? Yes? But am I paranoid enough? " Bahrs
