Great stuff about Apps-on-Tap that you can read on Wirt's original post...

I had the privilege to attend Wirt's remarkable presentation on
QCTerm at the end of HPWORLD (they always leave the best for last) on
Friday at 10:00 AM. With all due respect to the other presentations,
I really believe that Wirt's was sui generis (Latin homework, anyone?
:-) and the most radical of all. We witnessed the birth of a
revolution.

I was so touched and moved (technologically as well as emotionally)
by what Wirt had to say -- and by what happened during his
presentation -- that I took the liberty of:

        1) lifting the last part of his post to HP3000-L,

        2) converting it to HTML and PDF,

        3) publishing it on Adager's web site.

I know as well as anyone that Wirt (or a thousand others) could have
done the trivial technical (and publishing) stuff, due to the fact
that the Internet is a great equalizer and ANYBODY is a publisher
nowadays.

I just wanted to be the first to honor Wirt and his accomplishments
in this particular way :-)

I did everything on Internet time and I might have made some
editorial mistakes. If so, Wirt, please have a look and send me a
message so I can correct things. Wow! Things *do* happen fast in
these modern times, thanks to HP3000-L.

Go to http://www.adager.com and click on the "Papers" link. Then,
look under "Wirt Atmar" and enjoy!

Now, to the laundry room with all the sweat-and-tears-drenched
clothes from HPWORLD :-)
