being a problem with EOFs in the control file and, it is an intermittent
problem where one time the restore is fine, the next the control file for
the jumbo set is corrupted. A quick opening of the database using Adager
catches the problem and prompts for therapy. If you respond yes, Adager
fixes the problem in seconds and you're back in business.

Knowing the way Microsoft OSs need frequent re-booting, BP would be smart to
have the machine re-boot every time you pick up the gas nozzle.
