Can the HP3k ping the outside host (ping.net.sys)?
The HP3k has the router as the default gateway (@ sign)?
Does the HP3k telnet outside (you'll have to try from a DTC terminal)?
Does the router block (access lists) ftp from the network the HP3k is on?
Is there a firewall anywhere around?
