There we go!  A great marketing spirit, for sure.  Now, if we can
only get HP Corporate to mention the HP3000 and MPE in polite circles
(and in public, of course) with the zeal of a good missionary, the
sky is the limit.

Not knowing how to turn off your 3000 brings to mind a similar problem a
few years back.  The Denny's restaurant chain was 24 by 365 for
years.  The chain was bought out a few years back, and the new
management decided to close early on a few holidays (Christmas,
Thanksgiving, etc..).  However, when it came time to close, managers
couldn't find keys, or had inoperative locks that hadn't been used in
years, if ever.
