Close but wrong terminology.  Listserv mail has the list name as the
RFC822 "Sender:" field, but the original poster as the "From:".  Some
other mailing list software doesn't follow this standard convention.
The HP3000-L list also has a "Reply-to:" which is set to the original
poster as well, if your mail agent pays attention to that; but that is
configurable in Listserv.  Many years ago there was an informal vote
and the majority of readers seemed to prefer the "direct" reply versus
the broadcast one.  It reduces embarassment when replying and thinking
it is going direct :-)
