Or you should be able to purge it like this if the file. If the file is very
large it will take a little bit of time. I believe you also may need to log
on as a user with PM capability.

:FILE n=$null
:STORE BPBBB;*n;show;purge

You could also use FSCHECK/PURGEFILE to purge it as a last resort. (This
method is "unsupported")

Either of these options should circumvent the normal checks the file system
has for protecting files and allow you to purge it.

Looks like someone had a copy of CSM from Solution Soft and purged all the
files without decompressing everything.  check www.solution-soft.com and
see if you can get a copy to decompress the files.

I have several files on my system that I can't print (or purge w/MPEX).
What is a compressed file?  How can I change these files back to normal?
