From Wired's article on GM's in car surveillance system that records and
processes the last five seconds of vehicular data before a collision, and
has privacy advocates excited:
University of California law school professor Eugene Volokh said that data
from the system would probably be admissible in court. "A reliable program
that gives reliable conversion of the data -- that's like bringing in the
eyewitness," he said.

Gentle Listeners,
We just recently had a visit from Vladimir Volokh of
Vesoft fame and I asked him how Eugene was doing in his
new profession as a lawyer. "Quite well" was his reply.
Apparently his advice on hi-tech issues is much sought after
as can be seen in the second pargraph from the bottom.
