When calling a C subroutine to do a dynamic query from a COBOL subroutine
that opens the DBEnvironment, does the SQLCA area being passed give access
to the DBEnvironment or does the C subroutine still have to open the
DBEnvironment?

I believe that the SQLCA being passed gives access to the DBEnvironment but
I have not found any manuals or examples
that prove my assumption.

Thanks,

Wes Cole
