We get the following message when trying to run Java from an acount other then MANAGER.SYS:

:java -fullversion
Access to this file is denied for the specified file access; a security
violation occurred. (FILE OPEN ERROR -248)
File System message 248
HPFOPEN failed. (LDRERR 56)
Native mode loader message 56
    /usr/local/java/latest/bin/PA-RISC/green_threads/JAVA;INFO="-fullversion"
Unable to load program to be run. (CIERR 625)

It obviously is some security violations but we are having trouble nailing down the problem. We've tried two suggestions from the Java FAQ and the HP3000 ListServe. The first was to do chmod's on the libraries (/lib/libm.sl, /usr/lib/libsocket.sl) the other was to do chmods on the /SYS/PUB/JAVAXL file.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
