You should look at TelaConsole from Telamon. I just did a review for the
News Wire and I really liked it. Basically you end up with a "Y" cable
between your console and a PC and the PC software allows you to do all
sorts of neat stuff with it.

Subject: Console msgs

Does anyone have a way of capturing console msgs into a file?

We currently print out all console msgs using a 'LOG BOTTOM' function to an
attached printer. This is all well and good except when the printer runs
out of paper and none of the operators notices, and ... you get the
picture.

I am looking for a way to send those msgs to a flat file, which I can print
and archive nightly. This would also give us some search capabilities.

thx
