We are a 911 center with a single app, all of which is in TurboImage. I have
completely investigated our contract renewal in the last month. HP has
dropped support for TurboImage and since we had not asked for a copy of
Image/Sql when it was "free" from HP over a year ago, we do not own
Image/Sql, and it would cost us several thousands of dollars. Since we don't
own Image/Sql, all that comes with the FOS is pretty much useless to us
according to HP individuals I have talked with. So we end up with no support
any longer for TurboImage and no "path" of connection for Sql or ODBC for
the TurboImage data without spending much more than we can cost justify. It
was NOT good info from HP at all.

The definative answer is that ODBCLink/SE which MBFoster Software
Labs builds
in partnership with HP and licenses to HP is available to owners of
Image/SQL
it is NOT part of FOS.

Seperate support fees are paid for Image/SQL. Image/SQL uses
AllBase/SQL
technology to allow SQL access to Image databases.

For more detail see the ODBCLink/SE manual on jazz.external.hp.com.

        Hope this helps ...
