I use ODBC/32 with schema editor(more like data dictionary).

First, extract data from IMAGE/3000 using Query and save data to flat file
(SD format).
And also create dictionary for this flat file using Schema editor.

Next, in the work station, In MS Access to attach this flat file, locate in
HP3000.
you can write little program (VBA) to open excel application and populate
data from
MS Access table or query(Link via ODBC : HP Flat File) to cell in excel.
Now entire flat file data is in new Excel work sheet.
