Well,

Another customer has decided to drop the HP3000.  One of the main reasons
being that they could not get HP to tell them what it would cost to
replace/upgrade their OS or system that is non-y2k compliant with a new
version.  After 3 weeks of phone calls they decided that the HP3000 is not
really something they need to mess with.

Of course they are in Alaska and I am sure that makes the problem worse.
