I have been duly chastised by many people who told me I should know
better.

I apologize - it did appear as an administrative note.  It was meant
as a "let's close this chapter and not reopen it".  I should NOT have
used the word administrative.  I apologize for that.

As for the rest of it... I feel that this discourse of rubbing salt
in the wounds of an issue that has been discussed ad-nauseum is not
productive and we should put this chapter to bed.

Again, my apologies for using a position that I should not have used.
I do not apologize for my view on the subject, however.
