You can do it without using any special utilities.

Do a :LISTSPF to find out what the input spoolfile number is, and then do
:XEQ PRINTSPF.PUB.SYS Innnn.IN.HPSPOOL. [...]46_22Jun199917:02:[log in to unmask]

Listf,-2 is the better one, I assume: this will report the security matrix
which is currently in place ....

Gavin,
The listfile ,-3 looks like so:
:LISTFILE FILENAME.GROUP.ACCOUNT,-3
********************
FILE: FILENAME.GROUP.ACCOUNT
FILE CODE : 1030 FOPTIONS: BINARY,FIXED,NOCCTL,STD
BLK FACTOR: 1 CREATOR : MGR.LPSTOOLS
REC SIZE: 256(BYTES) LOCKWORD:
BLK SIZE: 256(BYTES) SECURITY--READ :
EXT SIZE: 488(SECT) WRITE :
NUM REC: 3415 APPEND :
NUM SEC: 3424 LOCK :
NUM EXT: 1 EXECUTE :
MAX REC: 3415 **SECURITY IS OFF
MAX EXT: 7 FLAGS : NO ACCESSORS
NUM LABELS: 0 CREATED : WED, JUN 23, 1999, 11:31 AM
MAX LABELS: 0 MODIFIED: WED, JUN 23, 1999, 11:57 AM
DISC DEV #: 3 ACCESSED: WED, JUN 23, 1999, 6:29 PM
SEC OFFSET: 0 LABEL ADDR: $000000AC.$003F9620
VOLCLASS : MPEXL_SYSTEM_VOLUME_SET:DISC
The security is off because I wanted to see if that would make a difference
(it didn't).
Thanks,
Art

Sounds like this isn't an "ordinary" file somehow. Can you give us an MPE
:LISTFILE filename,-3 for it?
Cheers,
Gavin
