We have just purchased our first LaserJet 2100NT and attempted to connect it to the LAN and then print to it from the HP3000
using the Native Mode spooler Network printing.
We have many other LaserJets connected via JD cards and have been using this facility for several years.
However, we can't seem to get this one figured out. The file shows "ACTIVE" but nothing gets printed until we press the
"RESET" button on the printer. Then, the desire output is printed.
Unfortunately, the printer is physically located 3000 miles away, so I have to take the person there at their word
that the JD card is correctly configured. They swear that it is configured exactly like the LJ4000 (right next to it) that is
working correctly.
Is there something "special" about the 2100NT that I don't know???
