I've checked the archives on dejanews and while I found people asking
similar questions, I didn't an answer.

I'm trying to get a sportster 28.8  set up on a 927 on the user port
(Ldev 21). It is working for PC's that dial in, but not Mac's. The Mac's
connect, but appear to suffer some time of flow control problem. For
about the first half a screen they display normally, then it goes in
real slow chuncks after that. With the same Mac and Reflection config, I
can dial into another 927 with a sportster 36.6 and it works fine. I've
tested the cables on both machines and they are identical. The
configuration of the user port is also identical on both machines.

Is there any configuration difference between a 28.8 and 36.6 that would
cause this? Can someone supply a recommend config that they know works
on the 28.8?
