Hello,

I thought I posted this to the list yesterday, but the *complete* lack of response makes me think otherwise...  I apologize profusely if you're seeing this a 2nd time.

I've installed Sendmail/iX, and it works fine for MANAGER.SYS, but anyone else gets the following message:

$ cat /ACCT/GROUP/REPORT | /bin/mailx -s "Test Report" [log in to unmask]
Must set "sendmail" (to /bin/rmail, for example) use remote addresses.
"dead.letter" 167/7636
$ 

Where must I "set 'sendmail'"?  Shouldn't this be set globally?  Is this a permissions thing?

Also, is there a way to send mail from the : prompt rather than from the posix shell?

BTW, we're on MPE 5.5 pp6.
