Jim,

Using NETTOOL.NET.SYS. You must have sufficient privilege to run this.
Once in nettool you can use the PING command to ping other net devices.

Example:
:nettool.net.sys
NETTOOL Version:      B05090B7

 Enter HELP HELP for an explanation of the help facility.

 Enter HELP OPERATION for guidance on NETTOOL use.

 Commands can be abbreviated, HELP keywords cannot.

 Menu-specific commands for the ROOT:
