I can think of two solutions:

1) Data Retrieval Services at (800) 952-7530 should be able to do it. Their primary business is data recovery from crashed media, which is usually expensive, but since this is a media conversion, from good media, they may be able to do it on the cheap. (At least media and labor.)

2) Or, find a better "service provider."

We have requested data from a service provider who indicates that the only
media type currently available is IBM data cartridges. Does anyone have
experience moving data from these cartridges to an HP3000? Anyone aware of
a service bureau that provides conversion from the IBM cartridge to reel or
something else?

Thanks,

Karl
