        I know that I'm a fan of the laptop, and from the others on this
list that have been going on about how they travel everywhere with their
laptops, it would seems that a lot of laptops have fans.  ;-)

        Actually, mine does have a fan, and it is a good thing too!  If
I actually try to run my laptop on my lap, my legs get rather warm in a
very short period of time.  The manual warns about operating the laptop
on your lap, and how you might sustain heat related injuries if you do
it for a prolonged time period.  Isn't that an oxymoron, a laptop that
can't be used on top of your lap?
