I got my first job at HP because of PTAPE! Back in '86 (has it really been
13
years?) I was trying to upload my resume to a friend at the HPRC had having
trouble with Reflections file transfer. I was desperate, so used the :PTAPE
filename command to accept a flat file; then used A>\COPY RESUME.TXT > COM1:
(or something similar from DOS). Then I echoed a Control-Y to end the PTAPE,
texted the file into EDITOR & cleaned it up.

My how things have changed in 13 years!
