Hello all 1050 of you.

I am glad that the 925/935/949 issue has come up, just after the thread
about possible bugs in Oracle and YR2000.

That is because I don't have to bring up that many vendors are going to
point out that hardware/software that is not going to be supported in
Jan 2000, is not to be considered YR2000 compliant.

NOT because there is anything known to be wrong.

JUST that if it does show any issues, IT'S NOT GOING TO GET FIXED!

HP and Oracle (and probably others) are trying very hard to get people
to use supported software for Jan 2000, so that if anything unforseen
occurs, it can be fixed.

The latest release of Oracle Server for MPE is 7.3.4.1.0, and 7.3.4.3.x
is in the labs.

For further information about releases, support and Yr2000 issues, just
call Oracle Support!  Gossip and rumors don't provide you with any comeback,

if they are wrong.
