Look at SAFE/3000 for Monterrey Software Group. It will do what you ask
without modifying your code or JCL. I have used this product.

Subject: Any :STREAM intercepting s/w that uses AIF:PEs?

Wondering if any of the security packages out there have the capability of
intercepting ALL :STREAMs without having to modify :RUN commands or change
link-paths on all the program files on the system... I suspect it would
require an AIF:PE type call (though I don't care how it works, as long as it
does). Security/3000 requires adding ;XL= to all our NMPRGs that happen to
call the COMMAND intrinsic...and this is not feasible in our scenario.

We need password-substitution (rules based) like STREAMX does, but modifying
all the RUN lines or program files is NOT an acceptable option. Obviously
standard MPE 'jobsecurity' won't work for our setup either (jobs get streamed
for another logon by multiple non-AM/OP users).

Personal replies (from users or vendors) welcomed...
