Brad,

Try using printer type "26" for your LPQ 800.  That should give you messages
regarding its current status on the console.  More information on new printer
setup can be found in the "Configuring Systems for Terminals, Printers and Other
Serial Devices" manual, HP part# 32022-61010.

Regarding your network printing question.  I believe the answer is "YES"
providing that device is setup with pjl and pcl support enabled in the NPCONFIG
file.
