Hello Friends @ 3000-l,

Re: Streams/iX & address is not alligned

Just a FYI: Patch STRFDC5 6.0 is now General Release and I see it can be
downloaded from HP-ESC.

This patch includes the fix to:
  SR 1653-272252
SA818 SS 122 X.60.11, doing "gunzip xxx | tar xxx"

and several other system aborts seen most commonly while performing a
install of 'GNU C'...

Common symptoms:

  1. address is not aligned message on the console:

       ******************** Streams/iX ERROR ********************
       mpe_free(0x89429000): Error -- Invalid address
address is not alligned. Buffer size: 8192

  2. Recent call to procedure mpe_free_lockp (found in dump)

  3. Interrupts were disabled (found in dump).

Other SRs which are/likely dupe's of this problem:
  SR 5003-451997
  SA1047 SS 101 X.60.11, loghpe.move_header_n_data+$124
