Hi Bill, Kevin & Others :)
    Bill is right on the proper (if not politically correct) definition of
REMF... we are the guys who work in the rear to support the frontline grunts :)
in my case... I am one of the Instructors that teach the Infantry (and Common
Core) courses that enable the Frontline soldiers to make rank :)... and trust me
they like to make rank :)
