Dr. Barbara Ray has received a contract in the amount of $104,611 from the
Tennessee Department of Education to continue her Summer Institutes for
Special
Education Teachers.  These institutes offer courses to teachers who are
seeking licensure endorsement in special education.

The contract covers tuition, fees, materials and books for K-12 teachers so
that they may participate in either graduate or undergraduate courses.

Please join us in commending Dr. Ray for the long-term relationship she has
established with the Tennessee Department of Education and in thanking her
for her good work with teachers of special children.
